Rockville Mayor And Council ‘Cannot Support’ Gaithersburg West As Planned
Published: Wednesday, March 10, 2010 7:00 am By: Brad Rourke Source: Rockville CentralAt last night’s special meeting of the Mayor and Council, Our Fair City’s governing body passed a rather strongly worded resolution about the “Gaithersburg West” plan that will be passed on to the Montgomery County government.
It reads, in part:
“The City of Rockville cannot support the Planning Board Draft in its current form and recommends that the Montgomery County Council refer it back to the Montgomery County Planning Board to resolve the issues outlined in this Resolution and in that of the City of Gaithersburg.”
The full resolution that was voted on last night can be found here.
The City of Gaithersburg’s resolution was reprinted in full by our friends at Maryland Politics Watch.
